Twenty years building utility-scale energy storage. I was VP at NHOA Americas leading BESS deployments across Texas and Latin America, after eight years at Engie EPS commissioning some of the first grid-scale battery plants in Europe. I have stood next to a 200 MWh project in West Texas at 02:00 watching dispatch on a tablet. The discipline that work demands is what I'm bringing to the Swiss and EU pipeline.
I founded GridSphere in 2025 because the bottleneck on the Swiss side of the BESS opportunity is not capital and it is not technology. It is independent expertise that sits on the operator's side of the table. Most projects stall before FID: site complexity, regulatory ambiguity, revenue uncertainty. SIMULA collapses the first two. Senior advisory closes out the third. ec-storage takes care of what happens after the asset is energised.
